Welsh couple in lockdown in Egypt as hotel confirms COVID-19 case
Julian Turner, 50 and his wife, Julie from Buckley in North Wales have been confined to their rooms at their hotel in Egypt after a confirmed case of coronavirus was announced at their resort.
They are staying at the Magic Life Kalawy Hotel in Hurghada, Egypt.
Julian told ITV Wales they were on the beach when an announcement was made on the tannoy, confirming the positive coronavirus case and calling all guests to return to their rooms.
The hotel, run by tour operators, TUI confirmed there was a case at the hotel and said they were awaiting further information and instructions, but would inform guests as soon as possible.
