Beacons Mountain Rescue to help search for missing pensioner on Greek island of Zante
A rescue team from Wales will help in the search for a pensioner from Bridgend who has gone missing on holiday in Greece after donations from the public.
Western Beacons Mountain Rescue will fly out to help trace 73-year-old John Tossell, who has been missing since June 17.
He is said to have gone for a walk to a monastery on the island of Zakynthos but hasn't been seen since.
Mr Tossell's daughter Katy told ITV Wales there was a confirmed sighting of her father at a cafe near Mount Skopos which is close to the village of Argassi at around 3pm.
However, the emergency services have since scaled down their enquiries.
A Go Fund Me page was set up to help raise money for a rescue team to carry on the search alongside the Greek authorities.
