Police have seized a significant amount of the ecstacy-based drug Donkey Kong at an address in Barry.

A warning of the dangers of the drug was issued last month after a man was taken seriously ill in hospital earlier this month.

It also followed the death of 13-year-old Carson Price. Police said the possibility Carson may have taken the same drug is one of their "main lines of enquiry".

A 20-year-old man from Barry has been charged in connection with the drugs. Michael Iannucci has been charged with possession with intent to supply MDMA (Ecstasy) and Acquire/Use/Possess criminal property.

After appearing at Cardiff Magistrates Court on Saturday, the 20-year-old will remain in custody before appearing at Cardiff Crown Court on Friday 24 May.
