Snowdon avalanche injures one as snowfall continues to cause disruption
A climber has been flown to hospital after being hit by an avalanche on Snowdon as snowfall continues to cause disruption across Wales.
Rescue teams were called to three men following the incident on Tuesday night which left one of the climbers trapped on the mountain.
After a seven hour search mission involving volunteers, search dogs, the RAF and Coastguard helicopters, the man was found and taken to hospital with a broken leg.
The rest of the group were able to safely to safety.

It comes as the Met Office issued a yellow weather warning which remains in place until Friday midday. North Wales saw the worst of the snow on Tuesday causing schools to close and travel delayed. The poor conditions continued overnight.
More than 100 schools have been closed across Flintshire, Conwy and Denbighshire.
Flintshire: 74 schools closed
Conwy: 3 schools closed
Denbighshire: 13 schools closed
Wrexham: 18 school closed
Gwynedd: 22 schools closed
Snow fall across North Wales:
Although light snowfall is expected, roads are expected to be affected throughout the morning with up to 5cm of snow expected.
North Wales Police say conditions are 'deteriorating' and have advised drivers to remain cautious:
The A55 has been particularly affected, with a number of crashes and incidents throughout the morning. North Wales Police are urging commuters to stay to not travel across wrexham and Flintshire.
Tuesday saw Blaenau Ffestiniog hit by heavy snow. Around 20 schools in gwynedd, Flintshire, Denbighshire, Conwy, Powys and Ceridigion were closed.
As rain and showers start to move in on Thursday night, the Met Office has warned of hazardous conditions of ice forming on roads overnight as temperatures fall below zero.
