Woman and baby who died in Gwynedd crash named

A 22 year-old woman and a six month-old baby girl who died after a crash between a car and a lorry have been named.

The crash happened on the A487 in Gellilydan on Thursday, January 11 at around 11:20am.

Anna Williams, was 22-years-old and came from the Penrhyndeudraeth area.

Six-month-old Mili Wyn Ginniver was from the Blaenau Ffestiniog area.

Both were travelling in the Ford Fiesta when it crashed with a lorry.

Specialist officers are currently working to support the families who have requested that their privacy is respected at this difficult time.

The driver of the Fiesta remains in hospital in Stoke where her condition is described as critical.
