Baby girl airlifted to hospital after Gwynedd crash has died
A baby who was airlifted to hospital following a crash in Gwynedd has died, police have confirmed.
The six-month-old girl was airlifted to Alder Hey Hospital in Liverpool by the Air Ambulance yesterday but died in the evening.
Emergency services were called to the scene on the A487 shortly before 11:20am where a lorry and a Ford Fiesta had collided.
The front seat passenger of the Fiesta was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver was airlifted to hospital in Stoke where her condition is described as critical.
The next of kin are being supported by a specially-trained Family Liaison Officer.
