Could ospreys return to west Wales?
A new nesting platform and perching post has been installed at WWT Llanelli Wetland Centre in the hopes of attracting ospreys to the Bury Inlet.
The birds haven't been seen in the area for hundreds of years.
In recent years, the birds have been bred successfully at Dyfi Osprey Project, located at the Cors Dyfi Reserve near Machynlleth.
Staff and volunteers at WWT Llanelli have installed the platform and post on the saltmarsh land.
Special 'Walk with a Warden' tours will begin on April 7 for people interested in exploring the reserve.
