A fascination with birds of prey has proved a life changer for a GP from Hampshire after moving 200 miles to be closer to nesting ospreys at a Welsh nature reserve.

51-year-old Tracy Norris was so enthralled with the ospreys at the Cors Dyfi Nature Reserve near Machynlleth, she moved her home and job to be near them.

Tracy now arranges her days off from the GP practice so as to be available to help at the reserve, run by the Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust. Her new availability means she has been on hand to receive reserve management training.
