High level of emergency cases putting strain on A+E units
Accident and Emergency Units across Wales are reporting significant demand for services, prompting warnings for patients with minor illnesses to stay away or risk long delays.
Aneurin Bevan, Betsi Cadwaladr and Cardiff and Vale health boards have taken to twitter to encourage people to 'choose well' and avoid going to A+E.
In a statement on its website, Aneurin Bevan University Health board has asked people to say away from emergency units for the whole week, unless absolutely essential.
