Post resumes in Swansea Valley village after dog is seized by police
A village in the Swansea Valley has had post delivered for the first time this month, after a large mastiff dog which attacked a postwoman was seized by police.
Families living in Ystalyfera had been asked to travel five miles away to collect their post from a sorting office in Pontardawe, after the decision was taken to suspend deliveries to their homes - in case the dog struck again.
Residents said they were worried the suspension could run into Christmas.
But Royal Mail said the ban was now being lifted, after the bull mastiff was taken from its owner by police.
