From the archives: Rugby legend Gareth Edwards interviewed in 1976
With the Six Nations underway, we look back at one of Wales' greatest rugby stars... Gareth Edwards.
Our archive team at the National Library of Wales have uploaded an HTV programme from 1976.
In an interview with his former neighbour, Huw Llywelyn Davies, we hear of Edwards' early life, growing up in the village of Gwaun-Cae-Gurwen near Ammanford.
Widely acknowledged as 'the greatest try ever scored'... this was Edwards' spectacular try during Barbarians versus The All Blacks at Cardiff Arms Park in January 1973.
