A police officer is to be prosecuted for conspiring to pervert the course of justice in relation to an incident at a commemoration event during the pandemic.

Mother of two Karen Cummings was found unconscious with a serious head injury at a house in the Laurel Heights area of Banbridge.

Police said the man, in his 30s, died at the scene in the Mall area on Tuesday afternoon.
