Mother of two Karen Cummings was found unconscious with a serious head injury at a house in the Laurel Heights area of Banbridge.

The arrest followed a police chase which commenced after a woman reported being assaulted in the Listooder Park area of Saintfield.

Accelerant was poured through the front door of a property in Weaver’s Grange in the early hours of Sunday.
