Two more coronavirus deaths takes NI total to 30
Two more people who tested positive for the coronavirus in Northern Ireland have sadly died, taking the total to 30.
According to the latest figures from the Public Health Agency, testing has resulted in 103 new cases.
The total number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in Northern Ireland is 689.
UK-wide, the number of deaths has risen by 563 – the biggest day-on-day increase.
The total now stands at 2,352.
It comes after a 13-year-old boy became the first known child in the UK to die after contracting Covid-19.
A total of 29,474 people have now tested positive for coronavirus across the UK, with more than 150,000 tested.
