Pictures: goods vehicles overturned by Storm Henry
Three goods vehicles have overturned in high winds whipped up by Storm Henry.
A white van and lorry overturned within a quarter of a mile of each other on the A66 County Durham-Cumbrian border, near the Stainmore Cafe.
Further north, on the A1, near junction 60 in Country Durham, another lorry was knocked over by the high winds.
Co Durham road closed following landslip
A landslip has forced the closure of the road between Frosterley and Stanhope.
Following an inspection of the site where the slip occurred on the C75 back road, Durham County Council has closed the road to ensure public safety.
Traffic is being redirected via the A689 and diversion signs will be in place as soon as
The landslip happened some time during the weekend following heavy rainfall and the stormy conditions.
It is thought repairs could take several months.

High winds topple three commercial vehicles in our region
Police say that some van and lorry drivers appear to be ignoring their advice not to use certain routes in high winds after three commercial vehicles overturned.
Two of them are within a quarter mile stretch of each other on the County Durham/ Cumbrian border.
One lorry and a large white van have gone over on the A66 eastbound close to the Stainmore Cafe near Kirkby Stephen.
And on the A1 southbound, near the A689 turnoff at junction 60, a third lorry has overturned.
Police say this is a sign that the winds are strengthening because this accident happened on lower ground.
A19 southbound lane closed near Hartlepool by debris
Traffic England has reporting one lane is closed on the A19 between the junctions with the A179 and the A689 Hartlepool junctions because of an obstruction caused by debris on the carriageway.

Tees Flyover closed to high sided vehicles
The Tees Flyover in Middlesbrough is again closed to high sided vehicles because of strong winds.
The Highways Agency says it expects the road to re-open to these vehicles at around 1.45pm this afternoon, February 1.

The Transporter Bridge is closed until further notice due to high winds.

The A19 Tees Flyover is closed due to strong winds between A66 and A1046 Haverton Hill Road (Portrack Interchange).

The region has been battered by strong winds today as Storm Gertrude made its way across the UK.
A mother and daughter had a lucky escape after their car was hit by a falling tree, there were also overturned lorries and suspensions to the Shields ferry service and Middlesbrough's transporter bridge.
Drivers across the region are being urged to check the weather before setting out on journeys.
