Spennymoor captain "over the moon"

Spennymoor Town captain Daniel Moore says he's "over the moon" after his side won the FA Vase with a 2-1 victory over Tunbridge Wells at Wembley.

The Moors skipper sat out the match with a broken ankle, but he didn't let the injury dampen his spirits. He said: "I'm over the moon now. I was a bit emotional going up the steps and seeing all the fans come out.

"I've lost my voice standing on the side of the pitch trying to bark instructions out in front of their 10,000 or whatever they brought. But the fans have been unbelievable."
