Police investigate after two men allegedly robbed and assaulted by gang of four in East Cleveland

Police are investigating a robbery near The Golden Lion pub in Loftus, North Yorkshire, during which four men reportedly got out of a white car before demanding and stealing items from two other men.

The alleged incident happened in broad daylight, at around 3.40pm on Friday afternoon (27 December).

The victims, aged 59 and 34, said they were assaulted by the gang and had a number of items taken.

One of the four suspects is described as wearing a light blue puffer jacket, while the other three were wearing dark clothing, according to Cleveland Police.
