Little Mix announce date for Durham show next summer

Little Mix will perform at Durham's Emirates Riverside stadium on 16 July next year.

The concert will be one of 21 shows taking place as part of the band's Summer 2020 tour.

The quartet have completed tours of Australia, Japan and the USA as well as their recent LM5 Arena Tour which took in cities across Europe, the UK and Ireland.

Two members - Perrie Edwards and Jade Thirlwall - hail from South Shields and the group have expressed their excitement about returning to the region:

Fans can expect to see Little Mix perform some of their greatest hits including ‘Woman Like Me’, ‘Touch’, ‘Shout Out to My Ex’, ‘Black Magic’ and ‘Wings'.

Since forming in 2011 during the eight series of The X Factor, the band have sold more than 50 million records worldwide and received more than 3 billion YouTube views. They have also notched up four UK chart-topping singles and four platinum-selling albums. Their 2016 album 'Glory Days' was the biggest selling album by a female group this millennium in the UK.

Little Mix will also be performing in Scarborough at the Open Air Theatre on 21 July.

Tickets for the Durham show go on sale at 9am on 28 November.
