Canine car conundrum prompts appeal

Do you know who this glum looking fellow is?

She was hit by a car in Lanchester, and the car driver called the police.

After a considerable amount of barking, officers managed to get the dog into the back of their car, and she was taken to Coxhoe Kennels where she was checked by a vet.

Thankfully she was unhurt.

A Consett police spokesman said: "As you can see from our photos, I don't think she made much of the back of the panda,nor the biscuits we had to offer."
