Steel task-force survey could mean more money for Redcar

It is nearly a year since SSI steelworks closed with the loss of more than two thousand jobs on Teesside.

The task-force - given the job of making government and Redcar support groups work together to help former workers - is now carrying out a survey.

It is asking for suggestions on what they can do to help people move forward.

The results will be used to ask the government for further funding. Those wishing to take part have until midnight to complete the survey.
