Silver for paralympian Stephen Miller in Dubai
Cramlington paralympian Stephen Miller's twentieth senior international season got underway last week at the 7th Fazza International Athletics Competition in Dubai. It also marked the first fixture of this year’s IPC Grand Prix Series.
This is the third time Miller has headed to Dubai for an early season test, and he went as he prepares for the IPC World Championships in Doha later this year.
Stephen's best throw was measured at 28.33m and he secured the silver medal. Current World Champion Lahouari Bahlaz from Algeria won.
The IPC World Championships are being held in Doha from 22nd to 31st October.
