Television actress Crissy Rock is planning to open a ‘drybar’ to help alcoholics and homeless people in a town in North Tyneside.

The Benidorm star hopes to open a help centre in Whitley Bay to provide support to those batting addiction and depression.

The actress who is originally from Merseyside, now lives in County Durham and does a lot of charity work in the region and wants to give people a place they can meet without having a drink.
