Hairy Bikers to switch on Metrocentre Christmas lights

The Hairy Bikers will kick off Christmas at our region's biggest shopping centre. The celebrity chefs will officially launch the festive season at the Metrocentre.

Si King, who is from the North East and Cumbrian Dave Myers became an on-screen success story with their cookery show after years of working behind the scenes in production.

The turn on of the Christmas lights will start the shopping centre’s Christmas calendar of events which include extended weekday opening hours.

The switch will take place on November 16.
