North Yorkshire hotel fire started by.... flies

A major fire which spread through a wing of a hotel in North Yorkshire could have been started by flies.

More than 100 firefighters tackled the blaze at Crathorne Hall, near Yarm. 18 fire engines were used.

It has now been revealed that the most probably cause of the fire was an electric fly killer which was in the roof of the hotel.

A couple had to rearrange their wedding because of the fire.
