Campaigners against a waste incinerator on Portland are close to raising the £30,000 needed to continue to challenge the project.

The smell is said to have surrounded Warrenpoint for weeks and has led to an increase in flies in the area.

The government needs to upgrade the current sewage system as it was built when the island had a much smaller population meaning it's no longer fit for purpose.
