Ray Hughes was walking with five friends in Rainhill Stoops, close to the M62, when he suddenly fell ill and collapsed in September 2023.

The officer suffered face, leg and back injuries when a bike was ridden at police in Speke.

Emergency services helped the woman, who had become stranded on the flooded road in Mossley Hill, Liverpool.
