Suspected arson attack at historic mansion

Police say a fire at the Grade-two-listed Woolton Hall in Liverpool was a suspected arson attack.

They're appealing for witnesses who may have seen anybody acting suspciously in the area.

Fire crews battled through the night to stop the blaze spreading from an outbuilding to the main Hall, which was built in 1704.
