Singleton Hospital

Heather Davies, from Loughor, said her husband had to drive to the hospital to give her pain relief from home after her requests for medication went unanswered.

Singleton Hospital has faced criticism over the safety of its maternity services and while inspectors found improvements, staff numbers were still an issue.

The action follows an unannounced inspection of the unit by Health Inspectorate Wales in September which found several patient safety concerns.
