Exeter's annual Santa float won't be visiting the Heavitree area of the city.

The island's top medic has given Father Christmas a Covid travel pass so that he can visit children's homes over the festive period.

The First Minister said he had spoken to Father Christmas' helpers in the North Pole and he will be able to enter people's homes.
