An aerospace defence organisation is tracking Father Christmas' movements around the world as he begins delivering presents on their website.

NORAD and its predecessor have been tracking Santa on Christmas Eve for more than half a century.

It uses four high-tech systems to follow him: radar, satellites, Santa Cams and fighter jets.

It posts video of Father Christmas captured on its Santa Cams onto its website:

Google has also created a website where you can track Santa's progress.
