Oysters

The prominent festival had to be scaled back but has still plenty of visitors attending cooking demos and live music.

A new "containment area" covering the tidal waters and coastal zone around the River Exe has been declared.

The programme includes demos from celebrity chefs and coincides with the start of the native oyster season, which runs from September until April.
