Knife Amnesty

The ban puts zombie-style knives and machetes on a list of dangerous prohibited items, along with butterfly knives, Samurai swords and push daggers.

Bladed articles were left in bins around the county as part of Operation Sceptre.

Officers will also be carrying out targeted activity including education sessions and searches as part of the ongoing work to tackle knife crime.
