Keswick Mountain Festival

Organisers of the popular Lake District event said they are taking a year off in order to sustain the festival financially long-term.

It is expected to attract around 15,000 people to the Lake District town to listen to their heroes stories' of epic adventures and trying out some of their own.

Additional 'Fell Care Days' have been planned for later this years, following a successful fell project on 10 June despite the wet weather.
