Humber Estuary

A new technique is being used to restore 500,000 native European flat oysters to the Humber estuary.

Rescue teams including two mud technicians were called out to assist the animal after it was stranded in the Humber Estuary.

Officers say they were alerted by the HM Coastguard following the discovery on Sunday morning.
