Officers received a report after 8.10pm on Friday 19 April of a collision involving a silver Yamaha motorbike in the South Hetton Road area of Easington Lane.

Five ducks have been killed while one was shot in the face, another hit on the wing, and one who suffered a snapped beak

The man, 55, had been at an open water swimming session at Hetton Lyons Park. Police are appealing to anyone who was there on the evening of 31 May.
