A mural depicting the late footballing legend Gary Speed has appeared in the Welsh capital.

The 42-year-old, who played for clubs including Newcastle United, Leeds, Sheffield and Everton, was found dead at his home in November 2011.

New evidence has come to light which points to Gary Speed's fight with depression dated back more than 25 years. 

Speed wore the famous number 11 shirt for both sides, making over 400 combined appearances.
