Derby City Council’s Labour cabinet has approved a £2.25 million grant from the Government to allow it to extend its Household Support Fund.

Church Lane, in Darley Abbey, is closed to traffic between 7am and 9am Monday to Friday, except for cyclists and buses.

Councillors issued a statement on Sunday evening (April 14) to say a “high pitched” sound was heard in the early morning and throughout most of Saturday.
