Council Tax Rise

Councils across the country have made decisions on how much council tax will increase.

The Welsh Government announced that local authorities would get a 3.1% rise in funding for 2024-25 as part of its draft budget announcement this week.

Dr Rhys ap Gwilym, a senior academic at Bangor University, said the current proposals communities in rural Wales could be worst hit.
