The families are pushing for a new inquiry into the disaster which killed 123 people in 1980.

The incident involved two men, one of the men was taken to Cumberland Infirmary with non-life-threatening injuries.

Four people were hospitalised following the collision which occurred at around 6:45pm Friday 22 December 2023.
