Carers Rights

Carers NI has called on the Executive to make carer's rights a priority as new research reveals NI has the highest proportion of unpaid carers.

It's estimated that carers save the local economy in North East Lincolnshire more than £270 million per year.

Between 2021-24 there were over 6,500 carers allowance overpayment breaches referred to the Department for Communities debt management.
