The new building at Cheltenham General Hospital is predicted to cost around £18m.

GPs with concerns about patients who do not have the traditional “red flag” signs of cancer will be able to refer them to one of the centres. 

Local MP John Stevenson laid the first brick in the multi-million pound facility in Carlisle this morning.
