Apperley Bridge

The bomb squad were called to Apperley Bridge train station after a suspect device was found.

Train services have been cancelled and roads closed after unexploded WW2 bomb was found near the line at Apperley Bridge train station.

Police are appealing for anyone who saw the movements of the Astra beforehand and or who may have dashcam footage to come forward.
