The service will be held at Washington National Cathedral , which is known as the spiritual home for the nation.

The first man to walk on the moon, Neil Armstrong, will be buried at sea. The astronaut was a Navy fighter pilot before joining the space program. He flew 78 combat missions off an aircraft carrier during the Korean War. Mr Armstrong asked to be buried from an aircraft carrier.
