Beach closed after 1,000 ton rockfall
A section of beach in Dorset - made famous in the ITV drama Broadchurch - remains closed off after a huge cliff fall.
Around 1,000 tons of rock fell onto the beach at West Bay during strong winds. The coastal path between West Bay and Freshwater has now been closed - with walkers told to keep away.
Police say the cliff remains unstable, but not everyone is heeding their warnings. Richard Slee reports.
A beach in Dorset has been closed following a major rockfall of around 1,000 tons.
Emergency services, including police and the Coastguard Agency were called to East Cliff at West Bay on Tuesday afternoon.
The coastal path between West Bay and Freshwater has also been closed.
Dorset County Council is warning of dangerous overhangs from the top of the cliff.
