Campaigners crowdfund to keep Hastings Pier in community hands

Hastings campaigners continue to raise money to keep pier in community

The Friends of Hastings Pier have been granted more time to raise £1 million. They have set up a crowdfunding page to help raise the money. They need to convince the pier's administrators that they have the financial clout to keep the pier going over the next two years. The selling agents say the administrators are considering a number of bids.
