The carnage that can happen should it go horribly wrong
It was a shocking example of the consequences of a driver using a mobile phone - captured in graphic detail by a camera in the cab of a lorry.
Trucker Tomasz Kroker, from Andover, had been casually trying to tune in to his favourite music. Seconds later his lorry smashed into the back of a car on the A34, killing four people - a mother and three children.
The images caused nationwide condemnation, but tragically did little to ram home the message that it is unacceptable to use a mobile while at the wheel.

Our reporter Kerry Swain has been out with police in Dorset to see if the penalties will be enough to persuade motorists to change their ways.
