Chris has always been interested in weather, ever since building his first rain gauge with his dad when he was six. Chris graduated from the University of Reading in 2012, with a degree in Physical Geography. He qualified as a Meteorologist in 2014 at the Met Office where he forecast for the public, aviation customers and the RAF. After doing a stint on Channel 5 weather for a year, Chris joined the ITV Weather team in December 2017. Chris was brought up in Norwich.
