Police appeal following a homophobic robbery in Denmark Hill
Witnesses have been urged to come forward following a robbery in Denmark Hill.
The incident happened on 30th December when a 37-year-old woman was approached by a group outside a Nandos restaurant.
A woman, who was part of the group made homophobic remarks to the victim before grabbing her around the neck forcing the victim to hand over her belongings.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen the incident to contact the police.
On 6th January a 36-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of robbery. She has been released on bail until late February.
