The mother of the man accused of trying to shoot Donald Trump has had final face-to-face meeting with her son.

In a rare ruling an American judge gave Lynne Sandford permission to visit Michael twice at the main court house in Las Vegas.

The 20-year-old was arrested last June after he allegedly tried to grab an officer's gun at a Political rally for Donald Trump.

It's claimed he later said he wanted to shoot the presidential hopeful.

The meetings with his mother have been held across a table separated by wire mesh, so even though the pair have been in the same room, they have not been able to touch.

But Lynne Sandford who's from Dorking in Surrey says the second encounter was not as difficult as the first.
