Northbound Blackwall tunnel closed after man jogs through it

Blackwall tunnel was closed in the early hours of this morning after a man was spotted jogging through it.

Police were forced to closed the northbound tunnel for the safety of the man. Transport for London who monitor and maintain the tunnel tweeted this image this morning.

They then updated their earlier post 10 minutes later informing those checking the social media site that the tunnel had been reopened.
